FNWF

Tonight I am finishing of my knitting. I have been re-knitting
the bonnet and booties to an old baby set for my new wee Grand daughter due in April. I was very surprised that my son asked if he could borrow the layette to bring home his little daughter from the hospital. I was thrilled and proud. His Grand mother knitted this layette for his sister some 40 years ago. I am sure their little one will look so beautiful.
I have also been working on making a table centre piece for our kitchen table. I know this is my year of finishing projects already started but this
little project is achievable in a few hours.
I have also finished my cross stitch or Chicken scratch tablecloth for my friend Carol. I love how it looks and I hope Carol will love it too

Hi Roz,
I am so stoked to see some vintage knitting still being wanted these days. I do alot of knitting and can't believe the amount of people who think it is old fashioned to dress babies in thsse beauties!! I love what you are working on, just gorgeous. Yes, I love that chicken scratch too...another great craft work making a bit of a come back!!
Cheers, Anita.

Beautiful layette, so nice to be using when the new grand child arrives. The chicken scratch looks great, I haven't done that in many years!
