Aren't these gifts beautiful?

Thank you so very much Dawn for my Christmas gifts you did amazingly well for your first swap.

I made my gifts for Jo. It was so much fun choosing what to make which took me ages to decide and then the making. I certainly enjoyed this swap.

Washing machine topper complete

I am really happy with my new topper. Finished it off today as it is way too cold to be outside. The laundry is almost complete now just a bit of grouting to do and window coverings to work out.

Friday night again

Tonight with FNWF I am working on making a new topper for my washing machine. My DH has just finished re painting the laundry so a new cover is needed. I decided to do a log cabin pattern.

I have also had a great time this week making cushions from old jeans I picked up at the local
Op Shop. These are for my son and daughter in law. Robyn was telling me she needed some new cushions I just hope they like what I have made for them. The large parcel was posted today and should arrive in Ballarat on Tuesday. They should get a lovely surprise.

I have also been able to make two draught stoppers for my daughter. The old family home they have moved into is a little draughty and cold. These should help immensely I hope.
From this.......

To this.......what a difference some old tapestry fabric can make.

A pretty good stitching week for me this week as well as looking after the Grandies Ryan and Zoe.

As very proud grand parents I wanted to share. Our little Ryan 9 years old won the under 12 years State Pairs Championship for Mounted Games. He loves competing and has always done well but this was a wonderful achievement.

Zoe wanted her photo taken as well here she is holding Ryan's place ribbon.

Hope everyone enjoys their FNWF tonight I look forward to catching up over the weekend to see what others have been up too.

See you soon.
